Jason Christopher Hennon, 45 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he swallowed a bag of methamphetamine so that police could not confiscate it.
Police said that they approached Hennon as he was found trespassing at a home on Malone Drive. Hennon then placed the sack of meth in his mouth and swallowed it.
He was then taken to a local hospital to be monitored for his health.
Hennon is charged with tampering with evidence and criminal trespass.
