Ms. Anna Bell Willerson, age 74, of Calhoun, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 9, 2023, with her loved ones by her side.
Ann was born in Adairsville, Georgia, July 9, 1949, daughter of the late Hubert Earskin Smith and Agnes Louise Boswell Smith. Mrs. Willerson was of the Baptist faith. Ann loved her family and was a mother and grandmother first and foremost. She loved spending time and helping with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing puzzles, and browsing yard sales. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Wayne Willerson; brother, Wayne Odom Smith; sister, Martha Sue Williams; and niece Vanessa Louise Brooks.
Survivors include her loving children, Michelle Johnson (Alex Kettles), Christie Bunch, and Joey Willerson; grandchildren, Colby Robbins (Meghan) and Lacey Robbins; great-grandchildren, Branton and Bowen Robbins and Jovie Ann Ayers; sisters Patricia Brooks and Elaine Burnett (Bobby); and nephews, Kevin Williams and Clinton Burnett.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Norris Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colby Robbins, Joey Willerson, Alex Kettles, Bobby Burnett, Clinton Burnett, and Kevin Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Smith and Chris Smith.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
