Mark Clifford Meeler, 39 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a juvenile in the face multiple times leaving numerous bruises.
Police said that they were notified of Meeler’s actions when the victim arrived at school with two large bruises on the left side of his jaw and face. The child also had claw marks on his neck and bruising on his forearm.
Police added that the incident occurred in front of the victim’s younger brother.
Meeler is charged with 1st degree cruelty to children.
