Mrs. Frances Lee Rutland Little, age 77, of Rome

Mrs. Frances Lee Rutland Little, age 77, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at a local nursing facility.

            Mrs. Little was born in Floyd County, GA, on February 2, 1946, daughter of the late Leslie Blake Rutland and the late Mary Lee Melton Rutland. She graduated from Coosa High School in the class of 1964. Mrs. Little was employed at Coosa Bakery for 25 years, and for several years had also been an employee of the Rome Manufactory.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, baking, and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up and succeed in life. Mrs. Little loved traveling with her family, especially the trips to Disney World. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Leslie Blake Rutland, Sybil King, and Cary Rutland.

            Survivors include her husband, Larry “Dan” Little to whom she was married on September 9, 1965; her sons, Greg Little (Teresa), Keith Little (Pam); her siblings, Mary Ann Adams (Dayton), Maxine Kana (Paul) and Mary Kate Rutland; grandchildren, Ashley Ashley (Jordon), Bethany Hancock (Bailey), Zachary Little, Kaithin Little and Makayla Little; several nieces and nephews also survive.
