Stephen Stefka, 74, of Centre AL passed away on Thursday June 29th.
Steve graduated from Osceola High School in Kissimmee, FL. He served in the Air Force from 1966-1970. serving one year in Vietnam. He then went on to
work at Georgia Power and retired after 38 years. He has served as a deacon Since 1980. After retirement Steve spent a majority of his time as a master wood crafter. He was married to Patricia Pledger Stefka for 53 years.
They had two daughters, Jill (Bruce) Johnson and April (Cody) Edmondson. He was preceded in death by his son Jamie Stefka and parents Steve and Lorraine Stefka.
Mr. Stefka is survived by five grandchildren, Trai (Tessa) West, Myles West, Reed (Esther) Johnson, Tristan (Malery) Reed and Emma Reed. Three great grandchildren:
Parker and Ivey Reed and Trevor West. Brother Mike (Franny) Stefka and his Sister Laurie Clay.
Pallbearers include Trai West, Myles West, Tristan Reed, Reed Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Cody Edmonson, Zach Scott, Darren Pledger and Rodney Pledger.

A Graveside Service will be held at State Line Cemetery located at 8536 Blacks Bluff Rd. SW in Cave Springs, GA on Monday, July 03, 2023 at 4:00PM Central Time and 5:00PM Easter Time.
