James Colby Ray, 28 of Lindale, was arrested on felony drug charges after leading police on a car and foot chase.

Police said that Ray refused to pull his vehicle over and then drove on train tracks in an effort to escape arrest.

Authorities went on to say that after finally stopping, Ray attempted to run away on foot

After being captured, police said that they found him in possession of 22.4 grams of methamphetamine and scales.

After arriving at the jail, Ray was found with marijuana inside his underwear.   

Ray is charged with obstruction, possession of methamphetamine, criminal trespass, attempting to elude police, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, intruding railroad tracks, failure to maintain lane, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, reckless driving, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate and four counts probation violation.
