David Cobia age 77 of Centre passed away Saturday July 15th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday July 17th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Junior Eubanks, Gary Burkhalter, Randy Cobia, Terry Hawkins, Harvey Dupree, Wayne Maddox and James Brown.
Survivors include wife Mary Ellen Keener Cobia; sister, Josephine (Bill) Phillips; sisters-in-laws, Ginger Cobia and Glenda Brown; special friends, Harvey Dupree and Lindsey Miller.
Mr. Cobia was a native of Cedar Bluff, Al. and the son of the late Marvin Lanier and Clara Cobia and was of the Methodist Faith.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Cedar Bluff Cemetery Fund and family request no food.
