Dale Reymond Holtzclaw, 35 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail after leading police on a high-speed chase down Shorter Avenue starting at Tammasee Lane and eventually Alabama.
Police said that Holtzclaw led officers down Huffaker Road Dude Streets before entering Alabama.
Reports said that Holtzclaw reached speeds of over 90 mph while driving on the wrong side of the roadway and running numerous relights.
Holtzclaw was eventually captured in Alabama before being extradited back to Rome to face charges.
The chase occurred back on June 11th.
Holtzclaw is charged with attempting to elude police, driving on a suspended registration, driving on a suspended license, contempt of court, reckless driving, driving on wrong side of roadway, running red lights and excessive speeding.
