Joshua Edwin Powell, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a stolen John Deere mini excavator and trailer.
The items, which is valued at $34,019.25, had been reported stolen on May 24th from Home Depot.
They were located on Dublin Circle.
Powell is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
