Dakota Joseph Godfrey, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stalked a woman despite a court order to stay away from her.
Reports added that when police arrived on scene Godfrey attempted to flee on foot in order to escape capture.
Godfrey is charged with aggravated stalking, criminal trespass and obstruction.
