Mrs. Vivian Ann Minshew Sprayberry Loveless, age 80, of Adairsville, left her earthly body and gained her wings on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at her residence.

                Mrs. Loveless was born in Rome, Georgia on September 10, 1942, daughter of the late Homer Lee Minshew and the late Estelle Williams Minshew.  She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh Sprayberry, by a brother, Eugene “Gene” Minshew, and by a son-in-love, Carl Loveless.  Mrs. Loveless was a 1960 graduate of Model High School and was a founding member of Rome Baptist Temple where she was known as “The Sunday School Lady”.  She taught Sunday School, Bible School, and Children’s Church at the church.  During her working years, she worked at Americo and retired after 35 years from Galey & Lord.  She also owned Vivian’s Silks and Gifts and catered with Sandra Klink at Taste of Rome Catering.  Mrs. Loveless was a loving wife, mother, Granny, grandmother, and Nana.

                Survivors include her husband, J.R. Loveless; four children, Cindy Howard (Jeff), Timothy Sprayberry (Misty), David Sprayberry (Tania), and Judy Payton (J.W.); seven grandchildren, Sierra Jones (Wesley), Christopher Jones, Deidra Burns (Eric), Tristen Sprayberry, Tinley Sprayberry, Keith Sprayberry, Logan Sprayberry, and Timothy Payton; three great grandchildren, Livie, Emmett, and Brendalyn Jones; a sister, Jo Shahan (John); children-in-love, Randy Loveless, Rodney Loveless (Sammy), David Loveless, Terry Loveless, Kathy Blanton (Trent), Penny Vuckovich (Mark), Tammy Davis, (Wilbur), Ellen Loveless, Tammy Fortenberry, and Fonda Jones; numerous grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandkids-in-love, as well as several nieces and nephews.

                Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11am at Rome Baptist Temple with the Rev. Chris Hanks officiating.  Interment will follow in Morning View Cemetery.

                The family will receive friends at Rome Baptist Temple on Thursday from 6 until 8pm.

                Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church on Friday at 10:30am and include David Sprayberry, Keith Sprayberry, Logan Sprayberry, Tristen Sprayberry, Eric Burns, Wesley Jones, and Jeff Howard.
