Jason Allen Poss, age 45, of Cave Spring, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at a local hospital.
Mr. Poss was born in Floyd County, Georgia on September 26, 1977, son of Rebecca Wade Poss and the late Garry Poss. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey Odis & Annie Ruth Wade, Forrest Poss, and Margaret Riddle. Jason was a diesel mechanic with the City of Rome. He was a member of The Empty Tomb in Cave Spring. Jason enjoyed hunting, reloading, archery, and spending time with is family.
Survivors include his wife, Mindy Sue Siniard Poss; four children; Skylar Poss (Caleb Fill), Sarah Poss (Christopher Strickland), Owen Poss, and Carl Poss; his mother, Rebecca Poss; a brother, Joshua Poss (April); nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a memorial service on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 7pm at The Empty Tomb in Cave Spring. Pastor Rodney Willingham will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 6pm until the service time.
