A homeless 24 year-old Rome man, Joseph Matthew Wheeler, was arrested this week after reports said he was captured attempting to break into vehicles at the La Quinta Inn near the Cartersville Highway.
Police added that while being taken into custody, they found him in possession of methamphetamine and glass smoking device.
Wheeler is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and entering an automobile with the intent to commit a felony.
