Floyd County police arrested two men, Antwan G Serchion, 31 of Atlanta, and Vernon Dena Mandigo, 29 of San Francisco, at the Raceway Convenience Store on Shorter Avenue on various drug and weapon charges.
Reports said that the men were found with a large amount of marijuana packaged in multiple bags, and a firearm with the serial number removed during the search.
Mandigo is also wanted by the U.S. Marshalls for a crime that he allegedly committed in Virginia.
Both are charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Mandigo is additionally charged with being a fugitive of justice, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark and giving false information to police.
