A fifty-three-year-old Summerville woman was arrested recently after she was accused of having a physical altercation with her boyfriend and then shooting him with a stun gun.
Summerville Police were called to an apartment on Highway 48 and observed the victim with visible signs of the previous altercation with the suspect. The victim and another witness told officers that Teresa Ann Adams had pushed the victim and then tazed him with a stun gun. Police said that Adams was intoxicated and they could smell alcohol on her breath and that she was behaving in a loud and boisterous manner when they arrived on the scene.
Adams said that she got mad at her boyfriend because he was trying to get another man to have sex with him.
Adams was charged with disorderly conduct and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
