Ms. Jessica Nicole “Nikki” Corbin, age 51, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at a hospice facility in Marietta, GA.
Nikki was born in Rome, GA, on June 17, 1971, daughter of Mr. Nick Fincher and Mrs. Glenda Grubb Fincher. She was a graduate of East Rome High School and went on to pursue a career as a hairdresser. Nikki loved photography and was blessed to capture countless moments in her and her families lives. She was a creative person who enjoyed making jewelry and had a gift for painting. Nikki loved her family dearly and considered them her everything. She especially loved “cousin night” with her family and was elected “Cousin President.” When her health allowed it, Nikki was an avid exerciser and loved her reality television. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Baylee Nicole Williams, Rockmart; a granddaughter, EvaDrew Reine Garrett, Rockmart; her parents, Nick and Glenda Fincher, Rome; her special furry companion, Louie; special aunt, Shirley Lee; sister-cousins, Robin Butterworth, Kelly Staud and Jennifer Fincher; sister-nieces, Misty Fountain, Kaycie Nix, Brooke Adler and Haley Phillips; special cousins, Tim Grubb, Jay Fincher and Brad Vanlandingham; numerous other special cousins and family.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, in the Sanctuary at North Broad Baptist Church with the Rev. Micah Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm on Thursday at North Broad Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are to assemble by 1:30pm on Thursday at North Broad Baptist Church and include: Tim Grubb, Joe Staud, Mark Phillips, Brad Vanlandingham, Jay Fincher and John Fountain.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of funeral arrangements.
