Mrs. Alicia Marie “Biddy” Helms Barton, age 41, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at a local hospital.
Biddy was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 26, 1981, daughter of the late Ruby Lorraine Lee Helms and the late Gregory Alan Helms, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Barton, and by grandparents, George Ellis Helms, Mildred Louise Pilcher Helms, James Lee, and Kathryne Lee.
She is survived by a sister, Felicia Ann Helms Henshaw (Darryl), Gregory Alan Helms, Jr., Brian Scott Helms, Michael Shawn Helms, and Adam Caleb Helms (Irma); her aunt, Deborah Elaine Helms Adair (Ken); special friend of twenty-seven years, Kim Loveless. Biddy had a wonderful and very close relationship with her nieces, Ariel, Katie, Ashley, and Destiny, and her great niece and nephews, Brooklyn, Kyrie, Brayan, Caleb, and Benjamin.
Biddy was a very special person and there will never be another like her. She spread sweetness and kindness to everyone who came her way in life. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends. Rest in peace, sweet angel.
In accordance with her wishes, Biddy will be cremated. A private service will be held at a later date.
