Dustin Paul Messex, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week for an attack of a woman that occurred in late December.
Reports said that Massex hit the victim in the face with a closed fist. He then proceeded to throw the woman into a wall. The attack resulted in visible injuries to her face and arm.
The incident occurred at a home on Blacks Bluff Road
Messex is charged with battery.
