Brooklyn Nicole “Brooke” Babb, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at her residence.

                Brooke was born in Rome, Georgia on June 27, 1997, daughter of Mark Anthony Babb and Denita Bagley Holtzclaw.  Brooke was preceded in death by her grandparents, Troy Bagley, Jr., and James & Nona Babb, and by a cousin, Olivia Turner. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as an animal caregiver for the Lee family’s rescued animals.  Brooke was very involved with Living Proof Recovery.

                Survivors include her mother, Denita Holtzclaw; her father, Mark Babb; a brother, Isaac Callahan; a sister, Elizabeth Holtzclaw; her grandmothers, Rhonda Whitaker and Dollie Babb; aunts, Jamie Turner and Tammy Johnson; uncles, James Babb and Hershel Johnson; cousins, Sequoia Turner, Ricky Bagley, Cierra Bagley, D. J. Bagley, Charleigh Shelnutt, and Isaiah Harris; her loving canine companion, Rosco.

                Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Scott Lambert officiating.  Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday from 12 noon until 1:45pm.

                Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Krista Gresham, Katie Gresham, Jordan Adams, Kelsie Cook, D.J. Bagley, and Ricky Bagley.
