Mr. Adolf Huether, age 81, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

                Mr. Huether was born in Germany on July 10, 1941, son of the late Gottlieb Huether and the late Hilda Romming Huether.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ettie Mae Godfrey Huether, a grandson, Chad Parris, and by 6 siblings, George Huether, Richard Huether, Louise Burton, Edgar Huether, Erica Huether and Vera Worthington.  Mr. Huether was a truck driver all his adult life.  He worked for numerous companies and would take his skills and knowledge of truck driving and mechanics to each company he worked for.  Mr. Huether was a member of Reynolds Chapel Baptist Church.

                Survivors include 3 children, Brenda Ford (Ray), Rome, Lisa Wheat (Chip), Silver Creek, and Michael Huether, Rome; 4 grandsons, Jason Parris (Cat), Travis Wheat (Brittney Pruitt), Jake Wheat (Linley) and Cody Wheat (Ashley Watson); 16 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Shirley Huether; nieces and nephews.

                Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Friday, November 18, 2022, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Wayne Hann officiating.  Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.

                The family will receive friends on Friday from 10am until 11:45am at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.

                Pallbearers are to assemble by 11:30am on Friday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Travis Wheat, Jake Wheat, Cody Wheat, Jackie Huether, David Huether and Anthony Huether.
