The Gordon Countyh Sheriff’s Office recently received a report of child molestation involving a female who was victimized on a number of occasions between the ages of 13 and 16.
Detectives initiated an investigation which involved interviewing a number of individuals and collecting other evidence. On Monday afternoon, October 31, the detectives arrested Michael Scott Spillers, age 23, of 333 Union Grove Church Road, Calhoun, without incident at the Sheriff’s Office.
Spillers was charged with Aggravated Child Molestation, Aggravated Sodomy, Statutory Rape, and Aggravated Sexual Battery. The incidents are alleged to have taken place over a 3 year period at a private residence in Ranger, Georgia.
Spillers is being held in custody at the County Jail pending bond proceedings.
