Carlton David Jefts Sr, 69 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into the West Rome Animal Clinic and stole rattlesnake antivenom. Reports said that the theft occurred back on October 8th. The antivenom was valued at $349. Jefts is charged with theft by taking.
