Mrs. Joyce Ann Rausch, age 74, of Rome, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at her daughter’s residence.

                Mrs. Rausch was born in Rome, Georgia on January 18, 1948, daughter of the late Quinn Justice and the late Mary Haygood Justice.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Stacey Wynette Rausch, by a sister, Evelyn Self, and by three brothers, Steve, J.L., and Donald Justice.  Mrs. Rausch was of the Baptist faith.  She worked for many years at Galey & Lord until it closed.  She then delivered the Atlanta Journal Constitution in Rome until they closed that delivery service at which time, she focused on taking care of her grandchildren.  Mrs. Rausch enjoyed going to yard sales and Goodwill stores.

                Survivors include her husband, Alan Leroy Rausch; two daughters, Hope Beall (David), and Joy Dorsey (David); six grandchildren, Christa Beall, Aubrey Osborne (Thomas), Alexis Dorsey, Olivia Dorsey, Jordan Dorsey, and Christian Dorsey; six siblings, James Justice (Lynda), Bobby Justice (Carol), Carolyn Wheat (Jerry), Charlotte Humphries, David Justice (Diane), and Angie Paige (Steve); special friends, Eddie Forsyth & Peg; several nieces and nephews.

                Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Josiah Dixon and Pastor Danny Wade officiating.  Interment will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday from 5 until 7pm.

                Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday at 1:30pm and include: Jamey Justice, Lydell Self, Chad Wheat, Hagen Terry, Wendell Crowder, and Nevin Baker.
