Rome police arrested seven men following a drunken tirade at the Rome Civic Center over the weekend.
Police said that when they arrived on scene they saw Serapia Cornejo drunk in public. When they attempted to take him into custody Cornejo grabbed the officer with the intent to avoid arrest.
Antonio Navarro is accused of also being drunk and was urinating on the walls of the civic center. He also attempted to resist officers while they were placing him under arrest.
Authorities went on to say that Marcial Reyes was also found drunk in public and attempted to fight with officers who were placing him under arrest.
Mario Segura Rodriguez, Jonathan Cornejo, Jose Cornejo and Edward Cornejo-Fonseca also all refused to comply with officers during the investigation.
Mario Segura Rodriguez, 43 of Rome, is charged with public drunk, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
Jonathan Fonceca Cornejo, 26 of Rome, is charged with obstruction.
Marcial Reyes, 45 of Rome, is charged with public drunk, disorderly conduct, felony obstruction.
Edward Cornejo-Fonseca, 19 of Rome, is charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction.
Serapia Cornejo, 48 of Rome, is charged with public drunk and obstruction.
Jose Antonio Cornejo, 27 of Rome, is charged with obstruction.
Antonio Navarro, 33 of Rome, is charged with public drunk, disorderly conduct and felony obstruction.
