MR. GAYLON L. RUSH, age 83, of Roslyn Lane, Summerville

 MR. GAYLON L. RUSH, age 83, of Roslyn Lane, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, in a Rome hospital.

A native of Trion, Georgia, He was born to the late Otha and Thelma Rush, on April 26, 1939.  Mr. Rush was a member of the Summerville First Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U. S. Army, and was retired from commercial finance.

         Surviving are daughters, Debra Koertge (Richard), Linda Barbagallo (Sal), and Barbara Schafer (Kurt); son, John Rush; sister, Marilyn Wood; grandchildren, Natalie Whigham, Laura Bargagallo, Ashley Fred, Christopher Koertge, Christian Schafer, and Grace Schafer; great granddaughter, Olivia Whigham; niece, Susan Murdock (Todd); great nieces, Graci Murdock and Chloe Murdock; special friend, Norma Ables.

         Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26^th, at 1:30 P.M. from the Summerville First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Mason and Dr. Sean Wegener officiating, interment in West Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 P.M. at the Church.
