Robert Keith Tincher III, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he murdered an 82 year-old woman at a home on Hennon Drive in 2021.

Reports said that a Tincher grabbed the fallen body of the woman, placed her in plastic bags, and dragged her throughout the home, breaking numerous bones of the victim.

He is then accused of placing her in a chest freezer inside the home, breaking her back in the process.  He told police that the woman was still breathing when he locked her in the freezer.

Police went on to say that Tincher concealed the body for close to four months.   Reports continued to say that Tincher eventually moved the freezer, continuing to conceal the body.

Tincher told authorities that there was no altercation with the victim at the time of the murder.

Tincher is charged with malice murder, felony murder, concealing the death of another, aggravated battery and failure to appear.
