Glenda Faye Godfrey, 72 of Centre, Alabama, was arrested in Rome after reports said she burglarized a home on Foster’s Mill Road.
Reports stated that Godfrey crossed a fence and a locked gate before using an axe to break the glass from a carport door and gain entry.
Police added that Godfrey stole photo albums in the burglary.
Godfrey is charged with first degree burglary and criminal trespass.
