On January 25th, 2022, Officers with the Trion Police Department, Agents with the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, and Agents with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at an address on Deforest Avenue in Trion. Agents located over three ounces of Methamphetamine in a vehicle on the property. Located inside the residence were approximately 58 pills identified as Amphetamine and various other controlled pills. The Walker County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.

Agents arrested the following subjects:

Kenneth Blake Mitchell, 42 of Trion was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule II Amphetamine with intent to distribute, Possession of Schedule II Amphetamine, Possession of Schedule II Hydrocodone, Possession of Schedule IV Tramadol, Possession of Schedule IV Clonazepam, Possession of Schedule IV Lorazepam, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Heather McClung, 48 of Trion was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule II Amphetamine with intent to distribute, Possession of Schedule II Amphetamine, Possession of Schedule IV Tramadol, Possession of Schedule IV Clonazepam, Possession of Schedule IV Lorazepam, and Possession of Schedule II Hydrocodone.
