Victoria Leigh Couey, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found breaking into another’s car and stealing numerous items.
Police said that after Couey broke into the car she stole six transaction cards, a driver’s license and a social security card.
Authorities went on to say that after police observed Couey inside the vehicle she told them that she was the owner and gave them their name as her own.

Couey is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony, six counts financial transaction card theft, theft by taking, giving false information to police, criminal trespass and probation violation.
