Magdaleno Escutia-Cruz, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he became intoxicated and shot a gun in the front yard of his Lady Marion Drive home.
Police added that the shooting occurred within 50 feet of the roadway.
Escutia-Cruz is charged with public drunk, reckless conduct, discharging a firearm while intoxicated and discharging a firearm near a public street.
