Tyrone Carnel McGraw, 56 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat another person in the face and neck area with his hands.
Police stated that after the attack McGraw fled to his mother’s house. When police made contact with him at the location, McGraw proceeded to give police a fake name.
After discovering his identity McGraw attempted to flee the scene on foot.
Hew was captured after a short chase.
McGraw is charged with battery, obstruction and giving false information to police.
