A 34 year-old Lindale woman, Ashley Devonn Miller, who wa already in jail for lying to police and drug charges is now facing additonal charges.

Reports said that Miller used another person’s bank card without his consent to charge $85 at the Shova Food Mart on Maple Avenue.

That alleged incident occurred back on October 25th.

She is charged with finanical transaction card fraud.

Ashley Devonn Miller, 34 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she lied to police about her identity when she was found with methamphetamine and marijuana.

Reports stated that Miller gave police the name “Sherry Hemphill” while being taken into custody, as well as signing the name at Floyd County Jail.

She was arrested after police said they found her in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and devices for smoking both meth and cocaine.

Miller is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, false statements and writings along with giving false information to police

Sherry Lynn Hemphill, 49 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she was found in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and objects used for smoking crack cocaine.

She was taken into custody at 1901 Maple Avenue.

Hemphill is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and two counts possession of drug related objects.
