Christopher John Hill, 37 of Tallapoosa, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found drunk and acting disorderly at a home on Stonecreek Drive.
Police stated that Hill was found yelling curse and vulgar language in front of the general public. Officers added that Hill also acted in a “violent and tumultuous manner toward them”.
Hill was charged with public drunk and disorderly conduct.
