Terrie Ann Cox, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after attacking a man with a baseball bat before hitting a police officer and a nurse.

Reports stated that Cox swung a baseball bat at a man before beating his vehicle with it.

Cox was then transported to Redmond Hospital where allegedly another physical altercation occurred.

Reports stated that Cox thew an item at a police officer.  When the officer walked toward her, she is alleged to have raised her hand as if she was going to hit him.

The officer and a nurse proceeded to attempt to restrain Cox, all while she continued to resist. During the scuffle she is alleged to have bitten and kicked the officer and nurse.  Reports added that the nurses phone was broken during the altercation.

Cox is charged with aggravated assault, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree, three counts obstruction of police, two counts simple assault and simple battery against a police officer.
