Anthony Dylan Rice, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after allegedly attempting to choke out a woman at a home on Mitchell Circle.
Reports stated that Rice used his hands to choke the victim, leaving visible marks on her neck.
Police also said that Rice shoved the victim into a chair causing her to have a black swollen eye.
The victim’s children allegedly witnessed the incident.
Rice is charged with aggravated assault battery and two counts of Cruelty to Children.
