According to Georgia State Patrol officials, 30 year-old Jeremy Dakota Moon, of Gadsden, was killed in a two vehicle accident that shut down Highway 411 between Rome and Cartersville on Wednesday during rush hour.
Reports said that at around 5:21 p.m., a Hyundai Veloster, driven by Moon was traveling west in the left lane at a high rate of speed approaching Macedonia Road.
The driver of a vehicle ahead observed the Hyundai approaching at a high rate of speed when the driver of that vehicle started to change lanes to allow the Hyundai to pass.
The Hyundai sideswiped that vehicle.
After impact, Moon lost control of the Hyundai and it began to overturn several times.
