Anthony Lee Stewart, 35 of Miami, was arrested in Cave Spring after a high speed multi-state car chase.
Reports said that Stewart was running from Alabama police when he entered Georgia, driving at speeds of over 115 mph.
Reports went on to say that once in downtown Cave Spring he nearly stuck a police officer before losing control of his vehicle. Stewart then allegedly fled the scene on foot. He was then identified by his girlfriend as the driver.
He was captured a short time later after a foot chase.
Stewart is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving on a suspended license, attempting to elude police, giving false information to police and obstruction.
