Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley announces they are accepting applications for homeownership for families in Floyd, Chattooga, and Polk counties. 

            Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley believes that everyone should have a safe, decent and affordable please to live. Habitat is committed to partnering with local families who demonstrate a need for housing, the ability to pay, and a willingness to partner through fulfilling “sweat equity” hours. 

            Those interested in homeownership, applications are available online at https://www.habitatcoosavalley.org and are due with all supporting documents by February 26, 2021. The applications are offered in both English and Spanish.  

            Information sessions are offered for residents of Chattooga, Floyd, and Polk counties interested in applying for the Habitat program. The first information session will be at 5:30PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Restoration Rome, located at 1400 Crane St. Rome, GA.  The second information session will be at 5:30PM on Monday, February 1, 2021at the Chattooga County Civic Center, located at 44 Highway 48 Summerville, GA.  

            Attendance is not required for the informational sessions but is highly encouraged. Due to social distancing measures, space will be limited. To register call the Habitat office at 706-378-0030.
