Bartow County authorities have arrested Cody Lamont Daniell, of Cartersville, this week after the shooting death of 31 year-old Jonathan Andrew Smith.
The shooting occurred Saturday just before midnight on Milam Bridge Road.
Reports said that Euharlee Police was dispatched to the home just before midnight Saturday after a woman called 911 reporting that her husband had shot someone. Five minutes later 911 received a second call from another woman stating that a man had been shot at the home. That call apparently laid the telephone down before eventually hanging up.
Daniell is charged with murder, aggravated assault and obstruction of law enforcement.
Two others, Dessie Daniell and Kelsey Michelle Smith, were also arrested at the scene and charged with obstruction of law enforcement.
The victim, Jonathan Smith, was the owner of JA Construction.
