Cherokee County deputies arrested an escapee from Kentucky on Monday afternoon.
According to Chief Deputy Josh Summerford, deputies arrested Henry M. Rickard, age 58 of Calloway County, Kentucky, on warrants for escape and theft of a motor vehicle. Rickard was taken into custody at a residence on Main Street in east Centre and was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center where he awaits extradition by the Kentucky State Police.
