Anthony Obrien Sanders, 34 of Soddy-Daisey Tennessee, was jailed in Rome this week after he allegedly attacked and then proceeded to bribe the arresting officer to “make it go away”.

Reports said that officers were dispatched to Race Trac, in which Sanders had previously been banned from, to find him refusing to leave for a third time.

Police stated that while taking him into custody Sanders began to hit swing and hit the officer in the chest. He was also found with amphetamine in his pocket.

After being placed in the patrol car he told officers, “I will give you five thousand dollars to make this all go away.”

Sanders is charged with simple battery against a police officer, criminal trespass, bribery, felony obstruction and two counts possession of a controlled substance.
