Floyd County Sheriff Tim Burkhalter was presented with the Officer of the Year Award by Commander James Cox of the American Legion Post 136 Lindale Friday morning.
This award was presented to Sheriff Burkhalter for his numerous achievements and lifetime of dedication to Law Enforcement in Floyd County.
