Floyd County Police has honored Cody Lanier with a lifesaving award this week in which he used Narcan on two different occasions recently to safe the life of an overdose victim. He is also recognized for applying a tourniquet to a motorcycle driver following a wreck with injuries.
Lanier was presented the award from Asst Police Chief Tom Ewing.
