Daniel Ray Baldwin, 34 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he placed a 36 year-old woman in fear of her safety after he allegedly attempted to hit her with a closed fist.
The incident occurred at a home on Davis Street.
Baldwin is charged with simple battery and probation violation.
