On Tuesday, March 5, the Rome High School Varsity Boys Soccer team won their third region match 7-0 against the East Paulding Raiders.

Radriq Turner, Ivan Vasquez, Carlos Jimenez, Henry Ramirez, Junior Moriente and Luciano Hasko were the top scorers in the game against the Raiders, keeping the Wolves ahead with 69 percent of the possession.

“I think our players did a fantastic job this Tuesday at Barron Stadium,” said Head Coach Luis Goya.

“It was amazing to see how the kids responded to all of the new changes that we are implementing into the program. We have also been practicing up to six times a week learning new formations, set pieces and also working to raise our expectations. I can’t wait to see how they continue to perform as the season goes on,” said Goya.

The Wolves play their next Region match at Barron Stadium on March 15 at 7:30pm against the Carrollton Trojans.
