Mrs. Maxwell was born in Macon, Georgia on May 14, 1938, daughter of the late J.C. Holt and Roberta Sharpe Holt. She was a member of the North Summerville Baptist Church and prior to her retirement, was the manager of Dixie Credit. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Talley Lee Maxwell.
Mrs. Maxwell is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Rick Smith and Kim and Patrick Plant; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ethel Linda Holt; grandchildren, Camilla and Ricky Meeler, Kelo and Deanna Sagram, Mallori and Justin Goodridge and Sandi Lake; great grandchildren, Ryder and Raegan Goodridge, Miles Lake, Addison Meeler, and Max and Brenleigh Sagram; great grandchildren, Watson and Amora Meeler; and a nephew, Rodney and Leticia Holt.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Maxwell will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Barrett and Rev. Tom Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Dooley, Joe Gable, Mike Clem, Tommy Pledger, Jamie Coley and Justin Morris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny and Beth Simmons, Anita Snyder, Phil and Tammy Weaver, members of the North Summerville Baptist Church and Tapestry Hospice.
Mrs. Maxwell will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
