Mrs. Margaret Beavers, age 87, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away Tuesday evening,  February 5, 2019. Mrs. Beavers was born on June 17, 1931 in Cullman, Alabama, a daughter to the late Floy Herman Brannan and Miriam S. Brannan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady D. Beavers and by brothers, Floy Brannan, Jr., Wendell Brannan, & Harold Gene Brannan & Step Mother, Flora Brannan. Mrs. Beavers was retired from the Keebler Corporation and was tied to the Packing & Shipping Division. She had the proud distinction of being one of the oldest members of the Shiloh Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Jan Whitley & Shirley Hok; her step-son, Jon C. Beavers; her brothers, Wayne Brannon, Dale Robbins and Winfred Brannon; her sister, Dorothy Brannon Nix; her grandchildren, Hilary Hok, Alexis Hok, Trevor Hok and Margie Whitley; a number of nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Beavers will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, February 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Wright and the Rev. Jamie Newsome officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Wellti Cumberland Cemetery of Cullman, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are: Michael Brannan, Chris Nix, C.J. Nix, Lee Brannon, Johnny Brannon and Ed Lackey. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Scott Brannon.
