Austin Dakota Barnes, 20 of Gaylesville, was jailed after he allegedly coerced a 14 year-old Rome girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct with him.
Reports said that Barnes seduced the child to send him sexually explicit photos and then to engage in explicit verbal descriptions about sexual activity in order to arouse and satisfy his sexual desires.
Police added that he also furnished obscene material to the child.
Police continued to say that he then proceeded to take the child across state lines to Cherokee County
Barnes is charged with computer pornography, sexual exploitation of children, obscene internet contact with a child, electronically furnishing obscene materials to minors and interference with child custody.
