Doyle Pruitt, age 66 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Thursday, February 7th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3:30 P.M. Saturday, February 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating; burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:30 P.M. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Taylor Haggard, Donta Moore, Mike Rainey, Cory Culver, Skyler Pruitt, Tommy Bedwell, Kyle Rinehart, Caleb Pruitt.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Bedwell Pruitt; son, Skyler Doyle Pruitt; chosen daughter, Holli Rutledge; grandsons, Tanner Rutledge, Jagger Rutledge; special niece, Matison Bedwell; brother, Talmage (Helen) Pruitt of Boaz; mother and father-in-law, Billy Ray and Charlotte Bedwell; sister-in-law, Laurie Bullard; brothers-in-law, Thomas Bedwell, Matt Bedwell, Don Bullard; nephews, Mark (Anita) Pruitt, Drew (Molly) Bullard, Joseph (Mary Beth) Bullard, Caleb Pruitt; great niece, Natalie Bullard; a host of extended family & friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother & sister-in-law, Winford & Ann Pruitt; nephew, James Pruitt.
Mr. Pruitt was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Travis and Ara Pruitt, was a member of Round Mountain Masonic Lodge and was a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
