James Paul “Jimmy” Holland, 73, of Calhoun died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his home from a sudden heart attack. He was born in Pickens County, GA on June 7, 1945; son of the late Luke Holland and Mandy Hendricks Holland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Maddox; a son, Marcus York; and a grandchild, Michael Holland.

 

Jimmy retired from Mannington Mills. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping.

 

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Peggy Holland; sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Wendy Holland, Tony and Debbie West, Mitchell and Gina West, Heath and Vonda York; daughters, Angie Newton and Tonya Quinn; grandchildren, Josh West, Leigha Ellis, Layson West, Houston Dutton, Hannah Roberts, Austin York, Colby Quinn, Wyatt York, Aspen York, Brittney Knight, Joy Ferrel, Angel Dudley, Chris Holland, Shari Holland, Farrah Holland, and Cade Holland; brothers, Jerry Holland, Timmy Holland, Terry Holland, Tommy Holland, and Tony Holland; and a sister, Beth Brown.

 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Eddie Brannon will officiate.

 

The Holland family will receive friends on Saturday, January 19th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
